TANZANIA & ZANZIBAR ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be welcomed by your driver/guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru, as well as local Maasai communities. Upon arrival at the hotel, check-in, freshen up, and relax before dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, embark on a safari to Tarangire National Park, known for its high population of elephants and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a game drive to spot wildlife such as zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, impalas, gazelles, and big cats. After a picnic lunch in the park, continue with an afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, drive towards the world-famous Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint for stunning panoramic views. Enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing into the Serengeti for an afternoon game drive. Look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and the great migration of wildebeests and zebras. Arrive at your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Serengeti & Ngorongoro
Start the day with an early morning game drive in Serengeti to catch the predators in action. After breakfast at the lodge, continue exploring Serengeti before heading towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your lodge in Ngorongoro in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Travel to Tanzania

Flights

Everyone is responsible for their own air travel.

Arrival: in Kilimanjaro International Airport, Tanzania.

Departure: Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ), Zanzibar, airfare is NOT included in the price. The best way to find flights to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) is through Skyscanner CLICK HERE

If it's easier for you to have a return flight to the same airport I'm happy to arrange you a flight from Zanzibar to Kilimanjaro Airport.

Insurance

Everyone will need to take care of their own travel insurance. Travel Insurance is mandatory for this trip, if you don't already have one I can recommend you Safetywing which you can easily get insured for this trip CLICK HERE

Payment

The full amount will need to be paid by bank transfer only. Transfer fees need to be paid by the sender.

All payments are NON-REFUNDABLE!

In case of cancellations after down payment or last minute cancellations, payments will NOT be refunded. This is to cover the extra costs due to cancellations. The group trip is based on a set amount of people and therefore I can't refund any cancellations unfortunately.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife havens. The crater is home to over 25,000 animals, including the rare black rhino, lions, elephants, and flamingos. Enjoy a game drive and lunch at the hippo pool before returning to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Arusha to Zanzibar
After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your beach hotel. Spend the rest of the day relaxing on the white sandy beaches of Zanzibar.

Day 7: Relax at the Beach
Enjoy a full day at leisure on Zanzibar’s stunning beaches. Optional activities include snorkeling, diving, or a traditional dhow cruise.

Day 8: Prison Island, Stone Town & Spice Tour
Begin the day with a visit to Prison Island, home to giant tortoises and historical sites. Continue with a guided tour of Stone Town, exploring its rich history, markets, and cultural sites. In the afternoon, visit a spice farm to learn about Zanzibar’s famous spices before returning to your hotel.

Day 9: Swimming with Dolphins at Mnemba Island
Head to Mnemba Island for an unforgettable dolphin swimming experience. Enjoy snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters, observing vibrant marine life. Return to the hotel for a relaxing afternoon and sunset views.

Day 10: Departure
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning by the beach before transferring to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for your departure flight.
