Travel to and from Morocco
Flights
Everyone is responsible for their own air travel to Casablanca and out from Marrakech, airfare is NOT included in the price. The best way to find flights to Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport (CMN) / from Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK) is through Skyscanner CLICK HERE
** In case you flights align better to have an in- and outbound flight to Casablanca please let me know if you want to book a private transfer on the last day from Marrakech to Casablanca with an extra charge.
Insurance
Everyone will need to take care of their own travel insurance. Travel Insurance is mandatory for this trip, if you don't already have one I can recommend you Safetywing which you can easily get insured for this trip CLICK HERE
Payment
The full amount will need to be paid by 3 months before trip date by bank transfer only. Transfer fees need to be paid by the sender.
Down payment
After a confirmation that you are selected you will have to pay a down payment of 700 EURO, otherwise your spot will be given to another person.
All payments are NON-REFUNDABLE!
In case of cancellations after down payment or last minute cancellations, payments will NOT be refunded. This is to cover the extra costs due to cancellations. The group trip is based on a set amount of people and therefore I can't refund any cancellations unfortunately.

MOROCCO ITINERARY
Day 1 – Arrival in Casablanca
On arrival at Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport (CMN), you will be collected and transferred to our hotel in Casablanca. You will stay tonight in a twin room with an en-suite bathroom.

Day 2 – Casablanca, Rabat
After a short drive from Casablanca, we will arrive at Rabat, where we will have a guided tour and visiting interesting places like the Hassan Tower and Mohammed V Mausoleum. We will drive in the afternoon to the famous Blue City.

Day 3 – Chefchaouen
After a delicious breakfast, we will have a guided tour of Chefchaouen, often referred to as the Pearl of Morocco. Spend the day immersing yourself in the town's vibrant blue hues and unique charm.
Wander through the picturesque streets, shop for local handicrafts, and soak in the relaxed atmosphere. As the day winds down, we can gather on a rooftop terrace to watch the sunset over this enchanting city - an experience not to be missed.

Day 4 – Chefchaouen - Fes
Leaving Chefchaouen behind in the morning, the UNESCO world heritage city of Fes awaits us. The afternoon tour will reveal the medina (old town), one of the best preserved in the Muslim world, full of medieval monuments such as mosques, madrasas, palaces, fountains... Fes is currently Morocco’s cultural and spiritual centre, a place like no other. The highlights of exploring the medina during the whole afternoon will be its architecture, normal busy everyday life happening all around us and the amazing souks (markets).

Day 5 - Fes - Ifrane - wild monkeys in the forest in Azrou - Midelt - Ziz Valley - Erg Chebbi Dunes
It is time to head South, early in the morning because it's going to be a long drive, towards the Sahara Desert. Shortly after leaving Fes, we will encounter Ifrane, a small town in the Middle Atlas Mountains, known for its alpine-style architecture and nearby ski slopes and forests. Just outside of town, we will come upon the rare Barbary macaques roaming in the Cedar Gouraud Forest near Azrou. The landscape will change throughout the day.
The drive from Midelt until the final destination of the day will be mostly along the Ziz River, providing breathtaking landscapes: mountains, limestone cliffs, green spots, gorges. Arriving at the majestic Erg Chebbi Dunes will be yet another change of scenery. Welcome to a large sea of dunes formed by wind-blowing sand in an otherwise stony desert. The sunset awaits us.

Day 6 - Erg Chebbi Dunes - Hassilabied Oasis - Khamlia – Erg Chebbi Dunes
This will be a peaceful day. After breakfast, it is time to visit nearby destinations, starting at Hassilabied Oasis. Then we will enjoy the Gnawa Music Show in the village of Khamlia. Once we have a local lunch, the destination will be our desert camp to spend the afternoon relaxing before heading deep into the dunes on camel back, riding into the sunset. Our accommodations today will be deluxe tents just by the dunes, where we will reenergize after dinner with plenty of music and animation.

Day 7 - Erg Chebbi - Jorf Khettaras - Todra Gorges - Ouarzazate
Time to leave the sea of sand behind and head West. After breakfast, we will take the road that will guide us through the beautiful Dades Valley landscapes. We will stop briefly at Jorf Khettaras to learn about this ingenious hydraulic system that took water to oases. Further ahead, the impressive rocky Todra Gorge provides a unique scenery to, once again, stop and admire nature. We will arrive late in the afternoon in our Riad.

Day 8 – Ouarzazate - Ksar Ait Benhaddou - Atlas Mountains - Marrakech
Shortly after Ouarzazate, we will have a guided visit of the Ksar Ait Benhaddou, a historic fortified town along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is considered a great example of Moroccan earthen clay architecture and has been in numerous famous films. We will take our time in the new part of town too before crossing the Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n'Tichka Pass to take in the landscape. We will arrive to Marrakech at the end of the afternoon.

Day 9 – Marrakech medina guided visit
During the whole morning and part of the afternoon, we will venture deep into the medina to unravel the secrets of this exotic city (UNESCO). The highlights of the day will be the Bahia Palace and Ben Youssef Madrasa, where we will witness the craftsmanship of the Moroccan artisans and learn about the culture. But there will be a lot more points of interest as we walk through the alleys and souks that lead to the incredible Jemaa el Fna Square. Since this is our last evening we are going to meet all and have our goodbye dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 10 – Time to say goodbye
Unfortunately every adventure has come to an end and you will take your flight back home filled with memories and a group of new friends, depending on your flight out the transfer can be arranged.
Of course you can also extend your Morocco trip and stay a few days longer in Marrakech or a explore a different part of Morocco.
