Accommodation: Best Western Plus Casablanca

Meals: Dinner and breakfast included

Day 2 – Casablanca, Rabat

After a short drive from Casablanca, we will arrive at Rabat, where we will visit Hassan Tower and Mohammed V Mausoleum. After lunch, the destiny is Chefchaouen, the lovely Blue City of Morocco. Upon arrival, a guided tour will show the most striking places in this mountainous city. There will still be time for our own exploration before and after sunset.

Accommodation: Riad Nila

Meals: Dinner and breakfast included

Day 3 – Chefchaouen - Fes

Leaving Chefchaouen behind in the morning, the UNESCO world heritage city of Fes awaits us. The afternoon tour will reveal the medina (old town), one of the best preserved in the Muslim world, full of medieval monuments such as mosques, madrasas, palaces, fountains... Fes is currently Morocco’s cultural and spiritual centre, a place like no other. The highlights of exploring the medina during the whole afternoon will be its architecture, normal busy everyday life happening all around us and the amazing souks (markets).

Accommodation: Riad Arabesque

Meals: Dinner and breakfast included

Day 4 - Fes - Ifrane - wild monkeys in the forest in Azrou - Midelt - Ziz Valley - Erg Chebbi Dunes

It is time to head South, early in the morning because it's going to be a long drive, towards the Sahara Desert. Shortly after leaving Fes, we will encounter Ifrane, a small town in the Middle Atlas Mountains, known for its alpine-style architecture and nearby ski slopes and forests. Just outside of town, we will come upon the rare Barbary macaques roaming in the Cedar Gouraud Forest near Azrou. The landscape will change throughout the day.

The drive from Midelt until the final destination of the day will be mostly along the Ziz River, providing breathtaking landscapes: mountains, limestone cliffs, green spots, gorges. Arriving at the majestic Erg Chebbi Dunes will be yet another change of scenery. Welcome to a large sea of dunes formed by wind-blowing sand in an otherwise stony desert. The sunset awaits us.

Accommodation: Desert hotel with pool

Meals: Dinner and breakfast included

Day 5 - Erg Chebbi Dunes - Hassilabied Oasis - Khamlia – Erg Chebbi Dunes

This will be a peaceful day. After breakfast, it is time to visit nearby destinations, starting at Hassilabied Oasis. Then we will enjoy the Gnawa Music Show in the village of Khamlia. Once we have a local lunch, the destination will be our desert camp to spend the afternoon relaxing before heading deep into the dunes on camel back, riding into the sunset. Our accommodations today will be deluxe tents just by the dunes, where we will reenergize after dinner with plenty of music and animation.

Accommodation: Desert camp

Meals: Dinner and breakfast included

Day 6 - Erg Chebbi - Jorf Khettaras - Todra Gorges - Ouarzazate

Time to leave the sea of sand behind and head West. After breakfast, we will take the road that will guide us through the beautiful Dades Valley landscapes. We will stop briefly at Jorf Khettaras to learn about this ingenious hydraulic system that took water to oases. Further ahead, the impressive rocky Todra Gorge provides a unique scenery to, once again, stop and admire nature. We will arrive late in a traditional Kasbah located in a region of the Atlas Mountains used so many times as a backdrop for Hollywood films.

Accommodation: Kasbah

Meals: Dinner and breakfast included

Day 7 – Ouarzazate - Ksar Ait Benhaddou - Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

Shortly after Ouarzazate, we will have a guided visit of the Ksar Ait Benhaddou, a historic fortified town along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is considered a great example of Moroccan earthen clay architecture and has been in numerous famous films. We will take our time in the new part of town too before crossing the Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n'Tichka Pass to take in the landscape. We will arrive to Marrakech at the end of the afternoon.

Accommodation: Riad in Marrakech

Meals: Dinner and breakfast included

Day 8 – Marrakech medina guided visit

During the whole morning and part of the afternoon, we will venture deep into the medina to unravel the secrets of this exotic city (UNESCO). The highlights of the day will be the Bahia Palace and Ben Youssef Madrasa, where we will witness the craftsmanship of the Moroccan artisans and learn about the culture. But there will be a lot more points of interest as we walk through the alleys and souks that lead to the incredible Jemaa el Fna Square. After the tour, we will have a new experience as the sun sets and shows an even busier and exotic square.

Accommodation: Riad in Marrakech

Meals: Dinner and breakfast includeded

Day 9 – Marrakech

On our last day in Marrakech we will head to the famous YSL Majorelle garden after breakfast and later we will have enough free time to stroll around the markets, buy souvenirs, book a spa treatment or any other optional activities.
